Project Description
Bruce Thomas and Eddy Cola met in Montreal’s indie music scene. They played in several bands together and became close friends. In 2001, they recorded one track before going their separate ways. Flash-forward 15 years: They reunited in Venice, CA as a guitar/drums duo by the name of Lofi Uppercut. With a handful of gigs under their belt, they decided to cut a live-off-the-floor album. The result, recorded over two weeks in a home studio, is nine tracks of guitar-driven alt-rock cut with a dose of ’60s psych. As for the future? By the sound of it, it’s currently taking shape within the music.
